Mount Antero is prized for its gemstone deposits and has one of the highest concentrations of aquamarine in the country. Elevation 14,269 feet.

The Maroon Bells are two peaks in the Elk Mountains, Maroon Peak and North Maroon Peak, separated by about half a kilometer. Elevation 14,156 feet.

Capitol Peak lies on the long ridge connecting the heart of the Elk Mountains with Mount Sopris to the northwest. Elevation 14,130 feet.
