It is an airy move to get to the summit of this Needle Range peak that is flanked by Eolus and Windom. It was named for the rays of sunshine that pass through the spires on its ridges. Elevation 14,059 feet.

Snowmass Mountain is named for the large snowfield that lies on its eastern slopes. It lies along the border between Pitkin and Gunnison counties, west of Aspen and southwest of the town of Snowmass Village. Elevation 14,092 feet.

Redcloud Peak is located in the San Juan Mountains in Hinsdale County approximately 7 miles south west of Lake City. It's known for its red and orange tinted rocks. Elevation 14,034 feet.

Pyramid Peak is the 47th highest mountain peak in Colorado, and 78th highest peak in the United States. It is located in the Elk Mountains in southeastern Pitkin County. The summit resembles a ragged square pyramid. Elevation 14,018.

North Maroon Peak is one of the most-difficult of the standard 14er routes. It is located near Aspen. Elevation 14,014 feet.

Mount Democrat is located 5.4 miles northwest of the Town of Alma. It was once known as Republic Mountain and Mount Buckskin. Elevation 14,148 feet.

The mountain is named in honor of frontiersman Christopher Houston "Kit" Carson. The Crestones are a cluster of high summits in the Sangre de Cristo Range. Elevation 14,165 feet.

Ellingwood Point was named in honor of Albert Russell Ellingwood, an early pioneer of mountain climbing in the Western United States and in Colorado in particular. Elevation 14,042 feet.

El Diente is one of the more dramatic peaks in Colorado in terms of local relief and steepness. Elevation 14,159 feet.

Crestone Peak rises 7,000 feet above the east side of the San Luis Valley. It shares its name with the nearby Crestone Needle, another fourteener of the Crestones. Elevation 14,294 feet.

Mount Massive is located near Leadville in the Sawatch Range. Its name comes from its elongated shape: it has five summits, all above 14,000 ft. Elevation 14,421 feet.
