Keith- The KUHL Hi-Lo Cords are wonderful
pants, certainly among my favorites. They look nice, are rugged,
and yet can be worn in so many settings for the outdoorsy guy, these
will be your go-to pants. The real story for me is the comfort.
The fit is great. As Kuhl puts it, the Athletik cut is perfect
for skier and mountaineer thighs (I would also add glutes). The
Hi-Lo cord fabric isn't too heavy, nor too light, giving them a nice
drape. The fabric also has a lot of visual interest and appeal.
The articulated knees mean they flex well whether you're climbing
a crag or sitting on a jet. Ample size pockets hold your essentials
without you having to work hard to get into the front pockets or getting
wallet tracks on the hip pockets. These are among my favorite pants.
